Today was the first opportunity for Year 2 to access the iPads. Before using the iPads, they listened and engaged in a discussion focused on keeping safe online and how to handle the iPads appropriately.

Then, the children focused on the painting style of pointillism and made the connections between the dots of a painting and the pixels that create an image on a screen. The children were given an area of a pointillism style painting to recreate using an app on the iPad.
