Year three have investigating how to recycle and reuse resources in our world such as plastic, to combat the problem of unnecessary landfill waste and pollution. The class have been reading the inspirational book, ‘One Plastic Bag’ during their English lessons, in the text the main character reuses plastic bags and weaves them into purses. Pupils listened to a Now Press Play recording and learnt more about how finite some resources are on the planet and why it is so important to recycle. You can see the children enjoyed their session but also learnt a very important life lesson.
