Lights, Camera, Cinema Time

Pupils in Years 3 and 4 travelled to Romford cinema as part of the ‘Into Film Festival’ to watch ‘A Dog’s Way Home’. The film linked to Year 4’s next English book, ‘Pugs of the Frozen North’ about dogs trying to get back home after being abandoned in the wild.

The children really enjoyed the rollercoaster of a film and many pupils (including Mrs. Fernandes) were quite tearful by the end of the epic adventure. One child said that she cried ‘happy tears’ at the end of the film. Several pupils have not been able to experience the atmosphere of a cinema for quite a long time due to Covid restrictions.  The pupils’ behaviour was exemplary and a  great time was had by all.
