Year 1 have spent this afternoon learning everything that there is to love about the services offered by our local library. They eagerly arrived and met Sarah who gladly accepted their library registration forms to enable most of the class to be signed up to the library so that they can visit and borrow books regularly. Whilst there, Year 1 received a tour of the children’s section, showed off their book character knowledge in a quiz and enjoyed having a story read to them by Sarah. They ended their visit by browsing the shelves to see which books took their fancy. Year 1 are readers!!!
