The children in Reception were so excited to see IPads in their provision Monday morning. The children were shown the IPad activity during whole class carpet time and then were able to access the games independently during free flow.

With the focus of matching numerals to the correct amount the children were off playing the lady bird game, some children even moved on to ordering their numbers from one to ten. With this being the first time the IPads were in provision it was wonderful to see such such confidence when using the devices and controlled use of their fine motoring skills. Along with the children’s ability to share without adult support and the kindness to just help their friends without being promoted.
