The children in Reception spent Friday morning learning about the history of St George’s day. They enjoyed listening to the story of St George and the Dragon, even acting out parts, as you can see in the image their best Dragon faces. The children then got arty with painting and colouring of the English flag and English Roses. Some children even designed their own dragon, coming up with different and imaginative powers for them. The celebration continued as the children watched some traditional Morris dancing, with a few of them even giving it a go!
