This week in Reception, the children have begun to learn all about measuring in different contexts. They have explored height, length and weight and have risen to Miss Maxted’s challenges, like the one below. The children have used some of their wonderful new resources to support their learning, including the giant weighing scales and showed amazing teamwork to line themselves up in height order. Next week, they will extend their learning about measurements by learning two new concepts- time and capacity.
