We are working hard to help and support all of the families who are eligible for free school meals (FSM) at Eastbrook. We have arranged for each family to receive a TESCO voucher to the value of two weeks FSM allowance. All of the relevant families should have received this by now but please let us know by e-mail  (office@eastbrookschool.org) if that is not the case.

Please see below, previously circulated instructions about how to use the voucher.  We expect the Government to develop a nationwide solution to this issue in the very near future so it is likely that a different scheme will soon be in place. However, we will monitor this and continue to find ways to support those parents until any new system is announced.

Please note this scheme does not cover Universal Free School Meals that are given to Reception, Year One and Year Two  children.

If you think your child is entitled to FSM but are unsure how to apply please contact the school office and ask to speak with Kyri Mingay.  Please also contact Kyri if you are not entitled to free school meals,  but are finding it difficult to manage at the moment. We can help you access support; at for example Dagenham Food Bank or Barking Food Bank.
