As part of Science week years 3 and 4 ventured into the forest to make bird feeders. During the colder months birds find it more difficult to search for food so we decided to make natural food feeders for them. The children tied some string around a pine cone, squashed a banana in a box and mixed it together with seeds. They then covered the pine cone with the sticky mixture and lastly hung them on the trees in the forest. Well done children using the virtues of  teamwork,
