Children’s author, Ian MacDonald, visited Eastbrook Primary today.

Students were captivated during the assembly where Ian MacDonald shared his writing journey, from where ideas begin to how a finished book cover looks – focusing on the importance of editing and redrafting work.

Throughout the day, pupils experienced author-led story time, workshops on how to create characters and tips for building suspense.

Some pupils have now changed their career goals and all children felt the experience was definitely more than all write!
