Friday 4th March saw Eastbrook Primary celebrate World Book Day. Although we were a day later than the rest of the country, this gave our Key Stage 2 children the chance to celebrate it with their class teachers who were working hard on PPA on Thursday.

This year’s celebration represents the 25th time World Book Day has been celebrated in the UK and the children were encouraged to come dressed up as their favourite fictional character. The best dressed child in each class was awarded with a special World Book Day prize and across the school, the children took part in fun World Book Day themed activities to further demonstrate Eastbrook’s love of reading!
