Pupils in Mrs. Khanum’s EAL groups baked  gingerbread biscuits after reading the traditional tale, ‘The Gingerbread Man’. Firstly, pupils read the story then produced character descriptions, they also learnt about sequencing events in the story. Finally, pupils learnt how to bake the biscuits. During this process pupils learnt about food hygiene, measuring and timing. This also allowed the pupils to utilise and expand their vocabulary. The school smelt fabulous!
