Today we went into the playground with Unifix cubes and represented decimal numbers on a number line.  We represented 1/100 and 1/10 using Unifix cubes.

On Tuesday we used decimals to show fractions of squares we had shaded.  We also looked at images taken under an electron microscope.  Pupils guessed the size of an ant’s mouth in metres – using decimals.
