The school is taking part in a new Infection Survey which is being carried out by Public Health England, the Office for National Statistics and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
Letters and emails have been sent out to all families and staff in the hope that they will all take part in the survey which aims to test people for COVID-19, the antibodies for COVID-19 and to see how the virus is changing.
We hope that as many people as possible will take part in this survey so that we can establish how many of our students and staff may have been affected by this virus. With many children being asymptomatic (not showing symptoms) and the virus spreading in the nation, we would urge parents to consider taking part. Everyone taking part will also be tested for antibodies, which will let you know if the person tested has already contracted the virus.
Please register to take part before Monday as they will be sending the correct amount of tests to us by Wednesday.
