This week in Year 4, we have been exploring and enhancing our coding skills. We are beginning to develop a stronger understanding of the challenges that game developers face when creating gaming programmes for us to enjoy. We used our mathematical knowledge of x and y axis to move our turtle across his environment. The children quickly understood that for every movement they wanted their turtle to carry out they had to give him a command to respond to. The children gained confidence while programming a variety of codes and were able to create arcs and circles of varying sizes.
