This week Year 4 and 5 have really enjoyed celebrating World Book Day, with a whole host of activities. They thoroughly enjoyed their writing workshop with Ian MacDonald, all the pupils were eager to ask him questions about his work as a published author.  Then inspired by an extract from one of his books they created their own alien and described it. Pupils also dressed up as their favourite book character, took part in a reading quiz and enjoyed sipping drinks in the reading cafe, while they shared books with their friends.
