Big Garden Bird Watch – Bird Factfiles

In preparation for this weekend’s RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch, Year 6 took some time to consider the birds in our local area and completed some research to find out some more about them.

 

They were meant to take a breathe of fresh air and see what birds they could see in their immediate local environment but were thwarted by the weather. Luckily, the RSPB website had a handy quiz which helped the children to find out which bird species they held the most affinity with. To find out which bird you are most like please click here.

After finding out which feathered friend they shared the most in common with, each of the children set about the task of researching and presenting interesting facts about their bird brethren.
