Pupils in Year Three dissected Stone Age excrement today! They carefully pulled apart the matter to find out what undigested food they could spot, this would give pupils insight into what Stone Age people ate. Pupils managed to find blackberries, acorns, carrot skin and nettle leaves and much more in the matter. This led to discussions about how Stone Age people would stew fruit and boil nettles in tea.
