In their R.E. lessons this half-term Year One have been learning about the belief karma, within the Hindu religion. They have learnt that Hindus believe the way that you act in this life will impact on on what or who you come back as in your next life. Pupils discussed the good deeds that they do at home such as , making their beds or helping to wash up dishes. To demonstrate karma the children played snakes and ladders, they had great fun and some players became quite competitive! If you did good deeds you got to go up the ladders and bad deeds meant you slid down the snake. To end the lesson pupils thought of a good deed that they could do this week.
