Year Four pupils have been remarkably busy in Science recreating the perfect pitch. They have experimented with the way in which the amount of water in a glass could alter the pitch it makes. They discovered that the more water in the glass the lower the pitch and if the glass was empty or contained little water the higher the pitch. They worked quite carefully and used a gentle tap against the glasses so that they did not break them. Once they practised a few times they were able to create the perfect pitch.
