This week, in Year 5,  we have learnt how to calculate the mean average. During our lesson, we were able solved a real life problem and had the support of the Year 2 children to illustrate the mean age. While using our additional resources we were able to develop our contextual and conceptual understanding  of the mean. This helped us to explain what the mean average means!
