This half term, Year Two are focusing on the book Man on the Moon. So far, the children have asked questions about the main character, used their phonics knowledge to retrieve and recall facts and write a non-fiction text. Today, the children have discovered that there are sneaky aliens on the moon. They made their own aliens using different textured materials which then supported them to write adjectives to describe them. This will then be built upon in the week when writing descriptions.
