Arc Theatre’s Raised Voices: The New Normal – 2021 Celebratory Film Launch Online Event!

Eastbrook teachers were lucky enough to be invited to view a film made during lockdown to celebrate female empowerment created by students at the Arc Theatre.

Eastbrook School has a long history with the Arc Theatre and our students have been members of their youth groups over the years and completed work experience placements. Summer Spink and Hannah Grace took part in this film which covered hard hitting topics but with a sense of hope.

The Celebrating Women’s Empowerment film was presented in partnership with the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham Culture Service, with special introduction from Councillor Saima Ashraf – Deputy Leader of the Council and Cabinet Member for Community Leadership & Engagement.
