Whilst learning from home Year 9 Child Development students have completed some challenging yet rewarding tasks.

They have:

• Researched child development theorists; Frederiech Froebel, Jerome Bruner, Urie Brofenbrenner
• Learnt how to spell their name using sign language
• Identified how they learn best – using the VARK questionnaire
• Developed study skills – created revision timetables, set smart goals, practiced note taking from podcasts

I look forward to receiving their new tasks this term which is learning all about the job role and responsibilities of an Early Years Worker.
