Thursday 17th June saw the Year 9 and 1o teams turn to compete at the borough athletics competition. The Year 9 and 10 students had already heard about the success of the Year 7’s and 8’s from the Tuesday and wanted to continue it and that they did.

The weather wasn’t as hot with even some 100m events run in the rain, but they didn’t let the bad weather stop them and still came away with some outstanding performances including 9 medals. It was a fantastic day and all the students gave it their all. It was amazing to see how well all the students supported each other and celebrated each others success and throughout the day demonstrated our PROUD values.
