Year 8 have been learning about the slave trade and the powerful impact it had on helping Britain become important traders and a wealthy and powerful nation. Using some key characters they produced their own plays showing what happened. Next they will look at why Slavery was abolished, and the different methods that different groups used to help end slavery in Britain.
