This term Year 7’s have been studying the play ‘Much Ado About Nothing’ by William Shakespeare. In their lessons they have worked really hard to produce beautiful masquerade masks. They designed their masks to reflect some of the characters’ personalities, focusing on appropriate colours and symbols that best reflect their chosen character. They then had the opportunity to take on the roles of characters from the play and attend a classroom Masquerade Ball. They had a lovely time socialising with their peers and attempting to guess who the characters were based on their mask designs.
