Today I had the privilege of accompanying four year 10 pupils to the ‘Barking and Dagenham’ Maths Team Challenge. The challenge took place at Eastbury Community School in Barking and there were more than 17 schools in attendance.

The Maths Challenge consisted of 4 rounds where the four pupils had to work on Mathematical questions on their own, as a pair or in a team. Eastbrook School were very successful on the day with prises given to only the school winning each round. In each round, Eastbrook was only a few points away from the winning schools. I am sure we are so very PROUD of them.
