Under 14’s continue their winning streak

The new half term has started out strong for the Under 14 Netball team. It was a first game back since Christmas and they were keen to continue with their winning streak. This game saw them travel away to local school All Saints where there were only 2 points between the teams in the league and ended with a 8-7 win to us!

The game started out strong in the first quarter with it ending with a 4-3 lead to Eastbrook. Time for the second quarter came round where the girls wanted to make sure they stayed in the lead with it ending 7-3 to us. The girls went into the third quarter feeling more confident with the lead but All Saints came back fighting and it ended 7-5. This meant the pressure was on going into the final quarter to see who was going to come away with the win. It ended up being 7-7 with 30 seconds left in the game and with a fantastic interception from Tamara, the girls were able to finish the game with the 8-7 win and the winning streak still intact.

Players player of the match as nominated by All Saints was Darcey

Managers player of the match was Eniola.

Well done to all of the girls that played in the game – we are extremely PROUD of you!
