Tree Planting for Future Generations

Year 7 and 8 students participated in the local tree planting project at Eastbrookend Country Park.

The project is being funded by Eastbrook ward Councillors who would like the students to be involved in the tree planting as part of their educational development. Over the period of 3 days, our students assisted the rangers in planting 1400 trees alongside our primary students.

It was a fantastic experience for the students to immerse themselves in nature and the process of tree planting. Students were able to learn and understand the importance of planting trees for future generations to enjoy. The students are looking forward to revisiting the Eastbrookend Country Park to see the progress the project has made.

All students that were apart of the Tree Planting Project were a credit to the school and we are extremely PROUD of them.
