Year 7 & 8 – The Religion Project – Term 6

This term our students embark on their own investigative research into a chosen religion. Students delved into the spiritual purpose of faith and religion, the purpose of worship and sacred spaces. Students also presented their research through video or audio recordings. fantastic work was produced and students learn the skills for presentation. Additionally, students completed numerous RE challenges and produced wonderful posters and reports on religious thinking and philosophy.

This unit is designed to increase our understanding of the wider world around us and to explore other people’s faith and beliefs. This enables our students to express and support the key British Values of Tolerance as well as being Open and Understanding within our school’s character education, PROUD.
