During the period of lockdown we have been busily reviewing the school site and establishing ways of making Eastbrook an even more wonderful place to work and learn. There are a number of developments but the ‘star of the show’ at the moment is our amazing new canopy which backs onto the Specialist block adjacent to the Canteen.

For some time we have wanted an area where students can be outdoors but sheltered from the elements. Similarly, we were very keen to create an area for additional seating so that a greater proportion of students can sit down while they eat, relax and enjoy each other’s company.

We think we have achieved both objectives with this beautiful new structure and we look forward to showing it to the students and seeing them enjoy it when they return to school in September.
