Today, some Year 9 pupils took part in a workshop designing kitchens. Fran from ‘constructionyouth.org’ and Gita & Vivian from L&Q helped run the workshop.

Students from the GCSE Catering and D&T course worked in teams to design a kitchen.  This workshop helped students get a real life context to some of the material they will be covering in their GCSE.

Fran, Gita and Vivian all said how engaged and creatively gifted the children were, they found the children a delight to work with and mentioned the brilliant feel to the school during transition between lessons.  We also really valued our visitors’ input to helping our Students.
