Jewish Week of Activities

Eastbrook School is proud to host Jewish Week of Activities from 24-27th January. Our aims are to gain awareness and better understanding of Judaism and diversity amongst the Jewish community; to provide students with knowledge and experiences for them to construct their informed views around widely shared stereotypes about Jewish  people; and to hear the testimonies of survivors and their family members affected by the Holocaust. Some of the activities include –

Monday 24th – East London Synagogue visit: Tour and Seminar

Tuesday 25th – Jewish cultural dance lessons

Wednesday 26th – Rabbi David from South West Essex Settlement Reform

Synagogue: Question & Answer session

Thursday 27th – Eva Clarke BEM (Holocaust Survivor): Anne Frank Trust’s                                    Holocaust Memorial Day 2022 (via zoom)
