Health and Well-being Workshop

Today Year 7s and Year 8s undertook a Health and Well-being workshop by Peer2Peer Education.

The workshops help them gain some tools to manage their own mental health, create their own self-care plans and remind them to take the time to do things that make them feel good. Our young people engaged really well and school staff were very keen to be involved.

As one of the United Nation’s goals for sustainable development, we are committed to doing what we can to ensure the good health and well being of our students. This includes being proactive about mental health.

While many of us have been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, we know that young people have also lost so much social contact with their peers, on top of the disruption to their learning, which  undoubtedly led to rising anxieties. These workshops will help to provide our young people with the skills and resilience they need to take steps to recover from this pandemic.
