This week, Eastbrook School welcomed professionals from the global recruitment consultancy firm River Partnership, to lead the careers curriculum.

River Partnership is an executive search firm whose mission is to assist leading firms and corporations to significantly improve performance by attracting, recruiting, retaining and developing the most talented people in the market.

The River team helped students reflect on their achievements, as well as their goals and ambitions for their ‘future selves’ and will hopefully return soon to work with students on their CVs, personal statements and interview skills.

All our presenters were so impressed by our students’ behaviour, approach to learning and openness to reflecting on their career pathways. Lauren from River said: “It was so great to come to Eastbrook School and work with such exceptional young people. I can’t wait to come back and help them continue their planning. Eastbrook students definitely have a bright future ahead of them!”
