Year 6 have been studying poetry from a collection of poems called Sensational! This selection of poetry focuses on the 5 senses and how different people experience and react to them. Towards the end of their time with the book, Year 6 focused on the sense of taste, diving into poems all about food including Vegan Delight by Benjamin Zephaniah.

After reading and performing these poems, the children were enthused and inspired to write and perform their own, with all of them deciding to tackle the topic of fast food. Please enjoy the short video of their final performances.
