Years 5 & 6 investigated light and shadow today and discussed the different materials of properties and how they may impact on the shadows that they cast.

They can tell you the definitions of the following words; opaque, transparent and translucent.

They also investigated the question; ‘Does the distance from a source of light change the size of the shadow that is cast?’
