Year 3 Visit to Valence Manor House

Year 3 visited Valence Manor House in Barking. They learned about Victorian preparations for a traditional Christmas.

Pupils took turns to mix ingredients for a Plum Pudding and decorate a traditional tree.

Corniculas were used by Victorian children before stockings were introduced. Year 3 had a go at creating their own. This was followed by a fun and insightful tour of the house.
