To support their fine motoring skills the Reception outside classroom always has a tuff tray of messy or sensory play. This week the children really enjoyed exploring the water jell balls. The children were so engaged experimenting with different containers and even doing a sound hunt in the water jell balls with plastic letters.

It was surprising as this activity was planned to support their funky fingers, but the descriptive vocabulary and imaginative play that came from this provision was amazing. The children also displayed great kindness and awareness to their friends when sharing this resource.
