Year Three pupils are currently reading a book called ‘The Village that Vanished’ during their English lessons. The story is set in an African village so today the children worked in groups to create their own villages in the forest. The children demonstrated very well the school virtue of teamwork, creating some beautiful villages out of materials that they found on the forest floor.

Later on they role played either villagers hiding in the forest from the evil slave traders who were trying to capture them, or they acted out the role of the venomous slave traders!
