This week in Year 4,  we conducted a very different investigation. We have been learning about  different types of rock: Sedimentary, Igneous,  Metamorphic and Human-made rocks. But before we conducted our investigation we collected  a few rock samples from outside, they were all very different. We closely examined the different samples and even discovered a rock within a rock! It was quite exciting being able to use a magnifying glass to see the composition of the rock samples and then trying to decide whether it was a natural rock or a human-made rock.
