Year 1 took a visit to the Eastbrook Forest this afternoon to take their maths learning outdoors. They consolidated their number recognition and one to one correspondence by finding the correct number of forest goodies. The children worked so hard that there was just enough time to explore the fire pit and burn off some extra energy amongst the trees before we left too. A wonderful afternoon of learning!
