We have been busy learning how to solve a division calculations using the formal method. We had battle through and dug deep to exhibit the virtues of perseverance and determination while learning the skill of long division. All of the year 4 children were able to apply their times table knowledge to support their understanding of division. We also used manipulative to show groups of and lots of  an amount. The children showed support for their partner while working in order to facilitate a better understanding of the process.
