Children in Year 4 and 5 have been learning about holy books from different religions as part of their R.E. lessons. Pupils in Year 4 and 5 were visited by Mrs. Khanum this afternoon and she explained how and when Muslim read the Qur’an. Some of the children demonstrated how they are also able to read Arabic passages from the Qur’an and how they pray. The children learn a lot of new facts about Islam and enjoyed talking about their faith.
