Land Ahoy, I Spy Seawig Islands!

Year three are currently reading ‘Oliver and the Seawigs’ and really enjoying the story set at sea. Seawigs are islands that wear wigs made of sea treasure, for example treasure chests, ship wrecks and seaweed. The islands travel the seas looking for more items to add to their wigs.

Today the children have designed their own amazing Seawig islands and they look fantastic! Later on in the week, the children will compose an advert in which they will ‘sell’ their islands as holiday destinations. We can’t wait to hear more about the amazing islands…
