Year 1 have been busy showing off their artistic flair during their RE lesson all about Diwali this week. They enthusiastically learnt the story of Rama and Sita and following on from that learning, made and decorated their own Diwa lamps, which are such an important feature of the festival. The children have even been confident enough to produce a whole school assembly about this significant annual celebration which will be broadcast to the school on Monday 16th November.
