This week, Year 4 have ended this term’s Topic, Chocolate, with the wonderful experience of making chocolate. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it. They used four simple ingredients: butter, milk, sugar and the all important – Fairtrade approved – rich cocoa powder. They mixed all the dry ingredients together before having the melted butter added to the mixture. The room was filled with the rich, delicious smell of chocolate. We left our mixture to set in moulds overnight. Everyone is so excited to taste the end product hopefully it will be delicious!
