Eastbrook pupils have celebrated Chinese New Year, which is this coming weekend. Year 5 pupils presented an assembly to the whole school about this event. Pupils acted out the story of the 12 animals having a race to decide who would be the first to have a year named after them. They then explained the traditional customs of Chinese New Year and described the personality traits of people born in the year of their animal. Also each class within the school has produced some art work on a display in the school entrance, celebrating this festival.
