Buzzing Geography Bee!

On Wednesday 5th June a team of 6 Geographers set off from Eastbrook School for James Cambell School to take part in a Geography Bee competition. Pupils were eager to get going at naming capital cities, locating countries, recognising flags and locations from descriptions.

Pupils took part in a series of knock out stages to reach a semi, quarter and then ultimate final. Eastbrook pupils showed our school virtues of teamwork, enthusiasm and critical thinking. They all did well but unfortunately, they did not make it to the semi-finals. They cheered on the other schools and kept up the spirit during the tense final. Pupils now know facts such as where Timor Leste is located and the capital city of Eswatini! We are proud of you Year 5!
